CIABOT
The CIABOT is a small rural building, typical of the vineyards of Piedmont, deeply rooted in the farming traditions of the hills. It originated as a practical response to a range of everyday needs connected to viticulture: providing shelter during long days among the vines, storing tools and equipment, preserving materials useful for vineyard care and, at times, protecting the harvest during the most delicate periods of the year.
Present as a discreet landmark within the vineyard landscape, the ciabot is not only a functional element, but also a symbolic one: it tells the story of the simple and practical ingenuity of those who shaped this land with patience and hard work. Often built with local materials and naturally integrated into the surrounding environment, the ciabot represents an authentic bond between people, land, and vine, becoming a small testimony to the agricultural culture of Piedmont and its unique way of living the vineyard.
OUR WINERY
From the Langhe and Roero, wines that speak of land and vision
Our winery, located in FARIGLIANO, is the winemaking center for grapes sourced from the Langhe and Roero regions. Our vineyards are the beating heart of our business: continuous improvement and ongoing research allow us to achieve grapes of ever-increasing quality. We cultivate native grape varieties, among the most important of which are Dolcetto, Barbera, Grignolino, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Favorita, Chardonnay, Cortese, and Moscato — all bearing DOC or DOCG designation.
The winery is the place where the fruits of the land are transformed into wine. But we do not stop there: we believe in both the product and the way it is presented. Respect for local winemaking traditions, passionate care for the vineyards, and flexibility toward our clients are our greatest strengths. Over the years, we have specialized in the HoReCa sector and are investing energy and resources into international markets.
SUPERPIEDMONT
The natural evolution of Piedmont to be enjoyed in a glass
Superpiedmont is a winemaking project born in 2021 that tells the story of a Piedmont in evolution — a region capable of preserving its identity while embracing the future. From the hills between Farigliano, Doglianese, and Roero, Superpiedmont wines take shape as a bold and affectionate tribute to the Langhe, bringing together memory and experimentation.
The idea is to use blending as a language: native grape varieties such as Barbera, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo engage in dialogue with international varieties like Cabernet, Merlot, and Pinot Noir to create dynamic, vibrant, and refined wines — without betraying tradition, but rather enhancing it. Inspired by the same freedom as the Super Tuscans, these wines aim to express authenticity, contemporaneity, and respect for the land, transforming every bottle into a new story of Piedmont.
